About LAS and LAZ files
LAS is the standard format for lidar and laser scan point clouds; LAZ is the same, compressed. Surveys, drones and public elevation data deliver them.

- Points colored by RGB, elevation, intensity, classification or return
- Single classes such as ground or vegetation can be hidden
- Measuring with snapping to points, in real coordinates
